Oh. My. Gosh. This has got to be the best drawing of the Mayor yet!!! That means I'm improving!!!! Yay!!!!

Anyway, onto the story behind this. The title is based on one of my favorite songs from Seussical, "Alone In the Universe". It takes place where Horton feels like he's the only one who believes the existing world of Whoville. On the other side, Jojo is a great thinker, but nobody bothers to hear his ideas. Thus, through a small 'hello', Horton meets Jojo, who finds out that he loves to think, too! And they become the best of friends. (Awwww!)

Now, you're probably wondering why am I giving the title to this picture. Well, funny thing is, I can relate to this song alot, and so does the Mayor. Nobody really believed that Horton exists. As for me, my family thinks I'm taking my fandom too far. Okay, if I start pairing myself with the Mayor, then yeah, that's when I go too far.

But, that's not me. I love the Mayor, no doubt, but enough love for him to be a dad. He and my dad are so much alike, I'm not kidding.

How strange.

KP
What is?

Mayor
Well, that we end up here talking on the roof, laughing at some jokes, yet all in all, we've known each other for only a month.

KP
Almost seemed forever, right?

Mayor
Yeah. Here we are, discovering different worlds, two worlds that nobody would ever thought on finding.

KP
Mostly by accident.

Mayor
What I can't help thinking is that, now I discovered yours, I wonder if there are even smaller worlds on Whoville.

KP
Oh, I'm sure of it! There are secrets on a leaf, in the water, in the air, hidden planets, tiny worlds, all invisible!

Mayor
But, not a person seems to know. Not a person seems to care. There is no one who believes a thing I say...

KP
*looks at him with concern*

Mayor (sings)
Well, I'm fairly certain
At one time or other,
Great thinkers all feel this way...

*he stands up and looks out in the night sky, while KP listens to his voice*

I'm alone in the universe.
So alone in the universe.
I've found magic, but they don't see it.

They all call me a lunatic.
Ok, call me a lunatic.

*Suddenly, they look up into the sky to find stardust floating down gently, as if it were snow.*

KP (speaks)
Oh, wow! Is this...?

Mayor (speaks)
It's stardust.

KP
How beautiful! *catches one* They look like little worlds, so bright and shiny.

Mayor
Is that what you were thinking?

KP
Of course! In my thinks, I imagine a lot of strange things, and I go to strange places, as if I had wings! I love a good think!

Mayor
Well, for me that goes double.

KP *looks down*
But, sometimes, my thinks are what get me in trouble.

Mayor *tries to cheer her up*
Say, KP? When you think, do you... dream?

KP *bursts out a smile*
In bright colors!

Mayor *excited*
Really?! Me too! And I go to strange places, like Solla Sollew!

KP
When you think, do you think you could fly to the stars?

Mayor
Oh KP, no one else could have thinks such as ours!

*grabs KP and starts to dance with her*

Yes, I have wings.

Mayor

KP

Mayor *hugs KP*

KP *hugs back*
Goodnight, Mr. Mayor. *starts to leave, but looks back at him, waving*

See you in Solla Sollew! *exits*

*Mayor smiles and looks up in the sky, watching the last stardust fall.*

I guess...I'm not alone...not anymore. *exits*
